چکیده
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is one of the most aggressive types human cancers. Although paclitaxel (PTX) was proven to exert potent anti-tumor effects against ICC, delivery PTX still challenging due its hydrophobic property. Nanoparticle (NP)-based carriers have been be effective drug vehicles. Among their physicochemical properties, shape NPs plays a crucial role in performance cellular internalization and thus efficacy loaded drugs. In this study, dumbbell-like snowman-like dimer NPs, composed polylactic acid (PLA) bulb shellac bulb, were designed prepared as nanocarriers enhance efficiency uptake performance. PLA/shellac through rapid solvent exchange controlled co-precipitation are biocompatible could flexibly tuned by adjusting concentration ratio PLA. Drug-loaded with sharp exhibit highest best cell-killing ability cancer cells an vitro ICC model over traditional spherical measurements flow cytometry, fluorescent confocal microscopy, CCK8 assay. The underlying mechanism may attributed lower surface energy required for smaller bulbs make initial contact cell membrane, which facilitates subsequent penetration membrane. Therefore, these provide versatile platform tune develop innovative that hold great promise therapeutic efficacy.

Encephalomalacia is softening or loss of brain tissue following cerebral infarction; cerebral ischemia infection, craniocerebral trauma or other injuries. Cholangiocarcinomas are malignant neoplasms of biliary epithelium, which usually arise from the intrahepatic ducts. A budgerigar was presented with a history of ataxia, decreased activity, neck weakness and weight loss. Supportive care was at...

Objective(s): Combination anticancer therapy holds promise for improving the therapeutic efficacy of chemotherapy drugs such as doxorubicin (DOX) as well as decreasing their dose-limiting side effects. Overcoming the side effects of doxorubicin (DOX) is a major challenge to the effective treatment of cancer. Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) are emerging as potent tools for a wide variety of b...

The feasibility of using gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) for biomedical applications has led to considerable interest in the development of novel synthetic protocols and surface modification strategies for AuNPs to produce biocompatible molecular probes. This investigation is, to our knowledge, the first to elucidate the synthesis and characterization of sodium hexametaphosphate (HMP)-stabilized gol...
متن کاملIntrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: current perspectives
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is the second most common malignancy arising from the liver. ICC makes up about 10% of all cholangiocarcinomas. It arises from the peripheral bile ducts within the liver parenchyma, proximal to the secondary biliary radicals. Histologically, the majority of ICCs are adenocarcinomas. Only a minority of patients (15%) present with resectable disease, with a m...
